    Grounds Worker 

    Join our Operations & Maintenance team as a grounds worker! Grounds workers perform routine manual grounds and maintenance tasks, including the operation and maintenance of grounds equipment. This position requires some knowledge of grounds and maintenance techniques and processes. The duties of this position are performed under the direct supervision of the daytime supervisor. Assignments are outlined in detail, and inspected on a periodic basis. Depending on weather and activities, employees in this class may be required to alter shift hours depending on operational needs. Requirements: a High School Diploma or GED.

    LAN Technician

    Hannibal CSD is looking for two LAN Technicians to join our Instructional Computer Services Department!  In addition to meeting all required Oswego County Civil Service requirements, interested applicants must possess a strong work ethic, effective communication skills (including the ability to explain technical information to a non-technical audience), the ability to collaborate with others as a member of a team, organization, and be personable and passionate about technology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Furnish technical support to faculty, staff, and students via the district’s help desk system – includes managing tickets, answering and responding to phone calls, maintaining a presence throughout the district, documentation of task completion.
    • Maintain the seamless operation of the technology infrastructure throughout all district buildings
    • Provide technical support for Windows desktop and laptop devices within an Active Directory environment
    • Manage and support Chrome devices throughout the district and well as administration tasks within Google Workspace
    • Maintain the functionality of the district’s wireless environment
    • Support the use of classroom learning technology (i.e. SMART interactive panels)
    • Provide basic support for copiers and printers
    • Assist the district’s network administrator with the administration of user accounts
    • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with vendors to resolve issues and maintain systems
    • Other tasks and projects as assigned by the Director of Technology

    Salary: Up to $60K

    Tutors

    Make a difference in a student's life as a tutor! Zoom and in-person opportunities are available. Rates vary depending on certification and academic credits: 

    • Certified Teacher: $44.18 per hour
    • Certified TA or tutor with 60 college credit hours: $25 per hour 
    • Tutor with 100 college credit hours: $35 per hour

    Cleaner/Custodian ($16 per hour)

    There is a vacancy for a cleaner/custodian within the district. A cleaner is responsible for the effective performance of standard cleaning tasks and techniques, which follow a well-established routine. Cleaners play a vital role in making our schools a clean and orderly place for students and staff. The work is done under the general supervision of a higher level cleaner (Crew Leader) and/or custodial supervisor (Night Supervisor). Requirements: a High School Diploma or GED.     Teaching Assistant

    Have you ever considered becoming a teaching assistant? Teaching Assistants work to support our students and teachers throughout the day in many different ways. This is a certified position where you would need to meet the following requirements:

    • Have a HS diploma
    • Take 2 courses online (one is free, one you pay for). Financial assistance may be available.
    • DASA course at BOCES (~$100). Financial assistance may be available.
    • State Teaching Assistant test at any location (~$100). Financial assistance may be available.

    Teaching assistants, aides, and monitors work September through June with all student holiday and vacations off. We have an excellent health insurance, dental and retirement plan.
