Hannibal students perform ‘Mamma Mia!’

Hannibal Central School District students recently brought energy, talent and months of hard work to the stage with the Music Department’s production of “Mamma Mia!,” performed during a two-night run in mid-March.
Students in the cast and crew dedicated countless hours to rehearsals in preparation for the performances. From learning choreography and memorizing lines to perfecting vocal harmonies, their commitment was evident in every scene.
Behind the scenes, stage crew members worked just as diligently, ensuring smooth transitions, managing technical elements and supporting the overall production.
“We’re so proud of this incredible cast and crew,” said Music Department staff members Peri Hitzfield and Denise Ellis, who oversaw the production. “They spent countless hours rehearsing, memorizing lines, and ensuring everything was set behind the scenes. The performances were incredible.”
The production was a testament to the dedication of Hannibal’s student performers and the guidance of the district’s music staff, whose leadership helped bring the show together seamlessly.
