Hannibal students earned multiple honors across the photography category, including Gold Key, Silver Key, and Honorable Mention distinctions. Gold Key Award recipients included Madisyn Ames (“Dahlias”) and Daniel Svitak Jr. (“Fortunate Shadows”); Silver Key Award recipients were Isabella Guan (“Carnival Glow”) and Addison Holden (“Splintered Glass”); and Honorable Mention awards were presented to Madisyn Ames, (“After the Rain”), Peyton Garbus (“Frog”), Addison Holden (“Cascade”) and Daniel Svitak Jr. (“Kings Reflection”).
Art teachers Lyndsey Rowland and Hannah Kuc expressed pride in their students’ accomplishments, noting the dedication, creativity, and passion reflected in each piece.
The community is invited to view the work on exhibit at the Whitney Applied Technology Center on the Onondaga Community College campus. The exhibition will run through Feb. 27.
