Open house brings Fairley families, staff together

Students and their families flocked to Fairley Elementary School for open house recently, where there were a variety of resources and student work to peruse.
Families had the opportunity to tour classrooms, meet with teachers and staff, and learn more about the curriculum. Student work was displayed throughout the building, showcasing the creativity and effort of young learners.
In addition to classroom visits, families connected with school support staff, explored available resources from a variety of community partners, and gained insight into how Fairley collaborates with families to create a positive learning environment.
“Open house gives us the chance to build strong relationships with families and celebrate the important role they play in their child’s education,” said Principal Emily Milliken. “We would like to thank everyone who attended this year’s event, and we look forward to seeing these students learn and grow.”
The evening also gave families the chance to explore special area classrooms, including art, music, library, and physical education. The event helped set the stage for a strong school year built on collaboration and support.
