Fairley Elementary School recently welcomed students, grandparents, and grownups for an annual event that offered families a chance to slow down, connect, and create lasting memories through gardening and crafts.

The event, dubbed “Grow with Your Grandparents and Grownups,” gave students the opportunity to bond with their loved ones while planting seeds in flowerpots to take home. In addition to the gardening activity, guests enjoyed arts and crafts that encouraged creativity and collaboration across generations.

“This event was all about connection,” said Fairley Principal Amy Bird. “We wanted to create a space where students could share a meaningful experience with their grandparents and grownups.”
