Fairley Elementary hosts Open House with free Book Fair
Fairley Elementary was filled with excited students and their families during the school’s annual Open House.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for attendees to connect with teachers, explore classrooms, showcase their artwork, learn about community resources and get a glimpse at the exciting programs and activities planned for the year.
In addition to meeting staff and touring the school, students were able to attend a free book fair in the cafeteria while chatting with representatives from both the Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of the USA.
Principal Amy Bird discussed the value of hosting an open house. "It is an opportunity for us to build meaningful partnerships with families,” she said. “This helps us to provide the best possible education for their child(ren).”
Principal Bird also expressed the joy of seeing former students return to FES with their younger siblings. "We love hearing about their growth, current interests, and achievements," she shared. "It’s a privilege to have been part of their early learning journey, and we truly enjoy watching our Warriors grow!"
