DMK students earn awards at year-end ceremony
After a year of hard work and a commitment to their studies, more than 100 Dennis M. Kenney Middle School students were recognized for their efforts during a year-end ceremony.
The ceremony, held in the Hannibal High School auditorium, was an opportunity for middle school administrators and teachers to celebrate the students’ achievements in front of an audience of friends and family. Each award winner was called onto the stage to receive a certificate recognizing their accomplishments in a variety of subject areas.
In addition to awards in the core subjects and special areas, the annual Henry Parsons
Memorial Award was presented to Madison Gregory for her work ethic and effort.
“We’re so proud of our students for putting in the effort and excelling in the classroom,” said DMK Principal Khrystie Allen. “They should be celebrated for their dedication to their schoolwork.”
