Hannibal alumna gives back to Warrior students

For Hannibal High School alumna Jes Bramer, the school district holds a special place in her heart, and she recently decided to give back in a big way.

In mid-December, Bramer piled more than 500 handmade winter hats into her vehicle and unpacked them at Fairley Elementary School. The hats varied in pattern and color, and every student had an opportunity to pick one to wear during this winter season.

“We have some pretty harsh weather here, and I wanted to do my part to help keep the kids in my community warm with these hats,” Bramer said. “This ensures that every kid at Fairley has a hat to wear when it gets cold.”

Hannibal Central School District students, teachers and administrators expressed their gratitude to Bramer for her generosity.
