Students, families come together for Fairley holiday craft night

To gear up for the holiday season, Fairley Elementary families recently created ornaments and decorations during the school's annual craft night.

The cafeteria was bustling with excitement as students, siblings, parents and guardians came together to create holiday keepsakes. Students and family members could create different projects at nearly a dozen stations that were set up with construction paper, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, glue, crayons, scissors and glitter.

"This is always a fun event and gives our families a chance to come together for a fun craft night," said Assistant Principal Stephanie Griffin.

Throughout the evening, students made Santa hats, ornaments, reindeer candy canes and other hand-crafted holiday items to take home. They also had an opportunity to sip hot cocoa and listen to Christmas music during the event.
