 RULES AND PROCEDURES

Private property will remain private.

Personal space will be respected.

Academic integrity will be expected.

Student rights are granted within the bounds of an educational institution. They are restricted in cases which disturb the learning environment and/or cause serious discomfort to other students.

Assignments will be graded on the basis of content, effort, grammar, and spelling.

There will be no surprise quizzes. Expect a daily quiz. Consider it a surprise when there is no quiz.

All assignments must indicate the student’s first AND last names. The assignment number must also be identified.

Marking period grades are determined according to the following percentages:

Homework Average=50%

Test and Quiz Average=50%

The Test and Quiz Average is determined according to the following percentages:

Tests=75%

Quizzes=25%

Assignments must be handed in to the assignment box within one school day of the due date.

It is the responsibility of each student to become aware of all assignments and course requirements. This includes work assigned during absences.
