Colors can be made from additive contributions of red (R), green (G) and blue
(B). Using chemiluminescent light sticks (Glo-sticks) and a spinning
device, red, green, and blue Glo-sticks produce a disk of white light as shown
left.
By covering portions of the different sticks,
various color bands can be produced demonstrating the color addition
process. Black electrical tape was used to block light from the selected
Glo-sticks as shown in the first photo below. |
