Dental health in focus at Fairley

To celebrate Children’s Dental Health Month, Fairley Elementary students recently had a chance to learn about oral hygiene.
Two dental hygienists from Dr. Fruce’s office addressed kindergartners and discussed healthy habits. The pair talked to students about healthy snack options, the importance of brushing and flossing, and how to maintain good dental health.
“We hope you learned what is good for your teeth and how to adopt healthy habits,” hygienist Jessica Hudson told students. “It’s important to take care of your teeth.”
Following the presentation, Dr. Fruce’s office provided each kindergartner with a gift bag complete with a toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash and toys.
