Seniors to present fall play, Nov. 8 & 9

The classic story of Dorothy in the "Wizard of Oz" will take unexpected plot turns when Hannibal High School seniors present the fall play at 7 p.m. Nov. 8-9 in the Lockwood Auditorium.
This year's fall production, "Wizard of Oz: The Deleted Scene," takes Dorothy on a much different journey than the one portrayed on the big screen. Instead of meeting three friends along the yellow brick road and to the the "wonderful Wizard of Oz," her alternative route brings her to the "Mediocre Wizard of the South Swamp." There, she meets Hansel and Gretel, Jack and Jill, and others who add to the comedic take on a classic.
Admission is $5 and refreshments will be available for purchase.
