2018-2019 Classroom Supply Lists

Dear Parents/Guardians/Caregivers,

Welcome back to a new school year! We hope everyone was able to take some time to relax and spend time with loved ones.

We have all been planning and preparing for a great start to the new school year.  The custodians have been busy cleaning, fixing, and maintaining our beautiful building and grounds!  Our administrative assistants have been working hard to enroll new students, get class lists together, and prepare for all of the paperwork/computer changes as students enter the next grade.  Teachers have been preparing for our upcoming school year through professional development and are excited to share their new learning.  The bus garage has been busy with preparing routes.  Please be patient the first 5-6 days that school is in session as students get used to loading the buses at the end of the day.  The buses could run up to 45 minutes late, but we will notify families as this occurs.  The cafeteria food has been ordered!  We are looking forward to some delicious meals as we continue to provide all students with free breakfast and lunch this year.  We have some new faces in the elementary building, including my own, so please be sure to give that nice warm Hannibal welcome to them as well.

Today, there is a growing understanding that it is only through teamwork that we will be able to provide the best education for our children. Schools, parents, and the community working together can ensure that all children reach their full potential.  We want to assure you that we will work with you to provide the best education for your child.  We invite you to be an active participant in his/her education.  We will keep in touch through progress reports, report cards, and parent teacher conferences.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us, email, and/or set up an appointment to meet.  We look forward to and are excited to work with you all this year!

Warmly,

Amy Bird & Stephanie Griffin
